Your Pizza Camp pizza is MADE FRESH to order from our woodfired oven and we deliver every Saturday. It arrives cooked & vacuum-sealed to pop in your fridge or freezer. Reheat in 5 mins!!! No preservatives. Just good old fashioned, artisan pizza.
It will taste just like a wood-fired pizza from an Italian restaurant, only even better because ours includes a pinch of LOVE! Delivered by refrigerated truck to most of Victoria.
We, Sonia & Remi (hello!!!) began our pizza business Happy Camper Pizza out of a 1960s Airstream in our driveway, nearly eight years ago. It was Remi's mid-life crisis when he was an engineer and Sonia was on sabbatical from the ABC, juggling 3 kids under 2!
We have poured our hearts and souls into it, growing to multiple vintage food trucks. But like many catering businesses, our weddings and festivals were shut down in mid-march due to Covid restrictions. The positive has been the inspiration to create Pizza Camp, to share our much adored pizzas with you.
HOW TO COOK:
- PREHEAT your oven to 220 degrees. This bit is really important.
- We recommend cooking direct on the rack for around 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese bubbles. If you don't love your pizza dough crispy, then place it in the oven on a tray.
- Defrost before cooking from frozen and follow the cooking instructions. If you can't be bothered to defrost, then lower the heat to 180 degrees and cook until the centre is hot.
Our pizzas are NATA Accredited and can be kept in the fridge up to their best before date. Or chuck them in your freezer for up to 2 months for whenever you have a pizza craving!!!
